Welcome to Creative Nonfiction!
Hope you are ready for a great semester of reading some amazing real-life stories and writing a few of your own. We will cover everything from one-page descriptive essays to book length stories including survivors of the dropping of the bomb on Hiroshima, a young girl's story of growing up in the Civil Rights movement, a man who walks across the entire U.S., and a reporter who drives Albert Einstein's brain from Maine to California.
Below you will find homeowrk assignments, class handouts (including the syllabus and schedule for each quarter), and a place where you can post discussion comments about anything that's going on in the class.
As always, you can contact me directly with questions or concerns at kelly.king@badger.k12.wi.us.
